Cappamore 3-12 Camogue Rovers 2-08 junior b 1/4 final

Cappamore junior b hurlers advanced to the county semi final after a comprehensive victory over Camogue Rovers. Playing with the elements in the first half Cappamore lead at half time on a score line of 8 points to 3. A early second half goal from Ben Leonard saw Cappamore lead by 9 points and then switched off to let the gap be reduced to 2 points with time almost up.However late goals from Denis Keating and Joe O Donnell saw Cappamore run out worthy winners.They advance to play Newcastle West next weekend in the county semi final. Damien Shanahan The club would like to congratulate Damien Shanahan on his achievements with his Australian club Craobh Phadraigh ,wining their championship,gaining a all star which gained him place on the Australasia team who reached the final of the world game held in Croke Park .It was great to see him attend Cappamore’s championship games while he at home.
