Kilpeacon 3-10 vs 4-7Cappamore
Played in Fedamore this game was a real battle with both sides playing some great football. Cappamore got off to a great start with 2 goals from Evan Coleman and Matty Walsh. Kilpeacon settled and found the net twice along with points from frees. Further points from Joe Smith(2), Donnacha Hogan and a free from Evan Coleman left it level at the break.
Cappamore went in search of a goal again and Shane O Connor got on the end of a free to fist the ball to the net. Seamus Hanley added another point with a fine solo effort. Kilpeacon replied again and went ahead only for Donnacha Hogan to find the net again with a cracking goal. Cappamore now leading by 1 point had Cillian O’Dwyer to thank when he tipped a blistering effort by Kilpeacon over the bar in the last act of the game. Great effort on the night by all players
