Minor 12 aside championship Semi Final result:Cappamore/Murroe Boher 6-7Galbally 2-12. In what was horrible conditions, the girls were once again brilliant, they started off slow but started to come into it as the game went on and put in a great shift especially in second half and were deserving winners. County final next Wednesday 15th against Adare in Fedamore @ 6.30pm. Kilmallock opened up the game with a quick goal and a point by the end of the first water break. Cappamore came alive scoring two goals and two points. Kilmallock responded scoring another goal by half-time putting Cappamore ahead by a point for the half-time whistle. In the second half Cappamore had the upper hand and maintained their pace and performance throughout scoring 3-2 and with great teamwork and diligence Cappamore only allowed Kilmallock to score two more points by the full-time whistle. Cappamore U9s played out a competitive match hosting Ahane last Monday evening in Cappamore. Ahane traveled with a large under 9 group of over 30 players.Two matches were played side by side with Tom Earlie captaining the Cappamore Shamrocks while Seánie Sweeney captained the Cappamore Celts.
